Later he became involved in aviation, earning his airline transport pilot rating and Learjet type rating, and now has approximately 3,500 hours in his logbook. As a pilot, he and his sister and her husband built Best AeroNet, Ltd. into a worldwide contract jet fuel network selling hundreds of thousands of gallons of jet fuel each month. His automated processing system allowed FBOs to process their transactions by internet, or if that was not accessible for them, by touchtone telephone.
